Get the Most Out of Your Kitchen Garden
Maximize your garden space by planting during each of our unique planting seasons in Columbus.
Let us do the hard work of figuring out how many plants you need per variety for each season and get them delivered to you at the beginning of each planting season, right when you need them.
Your custom plant order will be delivered to you with compost to refresh your soil’s health with each new planting.
Deliveries will occur 3 times during the season. Cool Season One = Early April delivery. Warm season = late May delivery. Cool season two = late August delivery.
We work closely with local farms to curate this plant list in order to give you local, high quality plants that will thrive in your kitchen garden.
We will be in touch before each season starts to confirm your plant order and arrange for additional planting services as needed.
The Unique Planting Seasons of Columbus, Ohio
Cool Season One
Begins April 1st and includes cool season, frost tolerant plants that thrive in cooler temperatures. Leafy greens, herbs, root veggies, and brassicas are the stars of this season.
Warm Season
Starts after the threat of frost has passed, usually in mid to late May with warm season crops such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, herbs, and companion plants.
Cool Season Two
The return of our cool season veggies. We start planting for this season in August and harvests can continue through November or later.

You can choose to plant yourself or have Seed and Vine do the work for you. We will reach out prior to your delivery to confirm this.
Please note, if certain varieties become unavailable we will make our best effort to replace with a comparable replacement.
